Communications is a small firm--deliberately so.
From our founding in 1989, we have grown
steadily, almost entirely by repeat business and
referrals.
Laura McGrath, Principal and Founder
Laura founded McGrath Communications in 1989
to pursue her love of writing and has passion
for communication that achieves her customers'
goals. In her past lives, she was director of a
non-profit community arts center, a community
college English instructor, a
do-whatever-needs-to-be-done member of a small
family manufacturing company, and a stay-at-home
mom/grad student. Active in the community, she
has served in leadership positions on the boards
of directors of a an early childhood center,
arts center, chamber of commerce, and regional
chapters of the American Marketing Association
and Literacy Volunteers of America. She earned
her M.A. in English from Alfred University and
her B.A. in English from Allegheny College.
Our Other Writers We contract
with other writers to meet fluctuating needs. In
most cases, they have not only a depth of
writing and strategic communication expertise
but also general management experience. We
always match our writers with specific
customers' needs, and we always bring them into
working relationships. There are no scribes
hidden away in the back room. Come to think of
it, there is no back room! |
